Figure 8 fitness advanced11/6/2022 ![]() You can log in with your account details and have all the workout videos on your phone. The BodyFX App is available for Android and iOS devices. The app is a great tool for those who travel a lot or workout outside of their homes. What the program lacks in technical interactivity, it makes up with the invigorating routines and effective results. It can work on any mobile device with an internet connection. The silver lining here is that the dashboard is otherwise very easy to figure out. For instance, you can’t rate the workouts and have to hunt for the one you ought to do next. While the program is quite effective, one downside or rather quirk of the program is that some of its technical aspects are a little behind their times. Having followed the program and being a BodyFX member, I can say that the additional 12 USD a month is worth it! If you want to become a member, you will have to pay $12 per month. You can add on the Ultimate program for $27 more. The Figure 8 Basic Program, which I used, costs $47 at the time of writing this. The website of the BodyFX program has a whole portal where you can find answers for whatever questions you might have about the program or if you’re having trouble getting the program to work at home. The BodyFX Facebook group is a place of acceptance and help where other members, trainers, and other people on their fitness journeys communicate swap tips, and simply share and celebrate each other’s progress. In addition to these programs, members also have access to monthly weight loss and fitness challenges, a monthly coaching program, and clean cuisine video series. The membership is much more than the Figure 8 program alone. Subscribing to is committing to putting your health and fitness goals as a priority. Regardless of your age, size, fitness levels, and the goals you want to achieve, BodyFX has something for everyone. While I chose the Figure 8 Basic/Ultimate programs, BodyFX produces equally effective and transformative results. During the classes, the instructor also explains the right postures, techniques, body movements, and muscle activation. You dance along to Figure 8 dance choreography by following the verbal cues the instructor gives over the microphone. This way, the drills can be repeated on both sides of the body, allowing the body to develop muscles as equal and symmetrical as possible. Above mentioned principles are mixed and matched to create Figure 8 dance drills, which are choreographed to 32-count musical numbers. The idea is to get your body moving and sweating, elevating your heart, and jumpstart the process of fat loss and toning. Precise body movements (hip sways, tucks, and rolls) The program is devised around six basic principles of body movement: It is the brainchild of a former competitive ballroom dancer, Jaana Kunitz who uses her experience as a dancer to design the program for the fun fitness solution it is. The Figure 8 training program is the perfect amalgamation of technical fitness and fun. The gradual tone I’ve been getting back in my body is well appreciated too While it’s a lot of fun, it is still a lot of hard work that produces some sweet results. Within these two months, I have completed the F8 Basics and on finishing week 1 of the F8 Ultimate program. And the best result of this program is the fact that I can now run after my wee little boy and not get tired. I have regained some of the strength, endurance, and energy back. Only 2 months have passed since I joined BodyFX but I have fortunately found it to be producing results.
